How MGH Is Venturing into XONE — a New Mobile-First AR Metaverse

In 2016, the “madness“ began.

Since then, millions of people walk through the streets daily and catch Pokémon with their smartphones. This is powered by VR — augmented reality, a visualization aid whereby you change your environment via your cell phone or special glasses:

Suddenly you see a Pikachu on the street or an Ikea shelf in front of your empty bedroom wall.

But AR doesn’t just beautify the real world — it is also the “low-hanging fruit” of making the Open Metaverse more engaging, more tangible, more enticing … that’s exactly what the AR Metaverse project XONE is doing.

That’s why MetaGameHub DAO is expanding into this Metaverse — and you can find out how we’re doing it now:

1. How XONE is building the first AR Metaverse

How do you experience social media today? Via 2D profiles that you listlessly scroll through. You only swim on the surface and never really dive in.

XONE aims to change that. It’s the first mobile metaverse application that blurs the hard boundaries between the real and digital world — thanks to AR:

You’re no longer scrolling through hard, lifeless social media profiles, but showing yourself and your work in vibrant (almost breathing) 3D Spaces.

It’s where you display your NFTs, your passions, and your achievements; it’s where artists monetize their work; it’s where you meet your friends— and it’s all in a bustling VR world.

These 3D Spaces are called XONEs:

2. What are XONEs?

XONEs are the “LAND” in the XONE Metaverse. They are 10,000 unique 3D spaces that belong to one of the following categories — Cloud, Underwater, Desert, and Jungle…

… whereas only Jungle has been released so far:

Each XONE is a procedurally generated 3D space with over 17 different traits. And all XONEs together form the “Island” — an “explorable augmented reality world which will bridge across multiple NFT and metaverse projects, host virtual concerts, exhibitions, and gamified experiences.” (Quote from the website).

In your XONE you can display your NFTs, earn $XONE, meet your friends, or modify and customize them through AR…

… and MGH will acquire exactly 134 XONEs:

3. How MGH is expanding into XONE

AR is the next step in making the Metaverse more accessible. Therefore, it is the logical step for MGH to invest in the first AR Metaverse.

MGH will acquire the following XONEs:

• 54 Jungle
• 27 Cloud
• 27 Desert
• 26 Underwater

But this is just the beginning. The core team at XONE has agreed to develop an MGH augmented reality community XONE, which you can explore. There we will host meetups and exciting community events to introduce our community deeper into the Metaverse.

When will this “MGH XONE” be ready? The goal is between May and June; then you should be able to visit it — with a few clicks — via the XONE application and enjoy this visual marvel.

We are also working on including XONEs into our Valuation Algorithm so that everyone gets fair and transparent prices for XONEs.

That’s how d’Apps and protocols could use XONEs to connect the Metaverse more deeply with DeFi (MetaFi) by using them as collateral.

4. Why does MGH invest in XONE?

The goal of MGH is “Navigating through the open Metaverse together.” But the Metaverse is not just one all-encompassing virtual world like the “Oasis” in Ready Player One — it’s diverse Metaverses with dedicated communities.

That’s why we’re pursuing a purposefully diversified strategy to introduce our community to many, high-quality Metaverses. XONEs are the next logical step in this strategy:
